Like the House of Gaspar Rivero de Vasconcelos, this was one of the representative houses of the new architectonic typology consolidated in the 17th Century. It was designed with a corner room upstairs, a continuous balcony turning over the corner, covered by a small roof supported by wooden bases. The main ceilings are carved and made of ornate wood. The rest of the house is only one story. It owns also a main façade of low and wide proportions with pilasters leading to a hallway and this to a spacious gallery parallel to the façade with wooden columns. The rooms along Aguiar street were accessories and those located at the courtyard were for the domestic staff. Prestigious historian and researcher of the Cuban architecture Francisco Prat Puig, recognized in this house a typical Moorish exemplar.
