Address:Pepe Antonio, e/ Martí y Cárdenas, Guanabacoa
Construction date:1721. Restoration:1850 |
This a simple construction where the solid tower of three sections highlights, as well as, the simple pediment covering the façade and the existence of two doors in the shape of an arch with garnishes very similar between them.
At the beginning it was only a nave and was extended with two lateral naves, what explains the existence of two façades along Pepe Antonio street. The roofs are of an extraordinary richness composed of carved and ornate woods that show up the crossing.
All the internal space is private and cozy marked by the lightness of its arcades over pillars and its props are relatively low whose main attraction is the high altarpiece, a valuable example of churrigueresque art made of exquisite golden carving works.
